Chahal Smashes 122 as Punjab Declare on 592 Against Andhra

Punjab batter Emanjot Singh Chahal has scored a quick century on Day 2 of their Ranji Trophy match against Andhra, smashing 122 off 150 balls with seven fours and nine sixes.
Batting at number eight, Chahal kept the scoring rate up after Punjab had already piled up a huge total through Salil Arora's 144 and Sanvir Singh's 205, making his century the third of the innings.
He was caught off Saurabh Kumar for 122, with Punjab 586 for 9 at the time.
Punjab declared their first innings on 592 for 9 in 156 overs in the fourth-round Elite Group B match, and Andhra had reached 20 without loss in 7 overs in reply.
