Glenn Phillips Hits a 31-Ball Fifty as New Zealand Fight Back at Eden Park

Glenn Phillips has hit a quick fifty for New Zealand in the fourth T20I against India at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday, reaching the mark off just 31 balls.

Phillips walked in after Mayank Yadav's two early strikes and rebuilt the innings with Finn Allen, who made 31 off 17 balls before falling to Axar Patel, and then with Michael Bracewell after Bevon Jacobs fell for 7 to Mayank, the fast bowler's third wicket of the day.

New Zealand were 109 for 3 at the halfway mark of their innings and kept scoring quickly, with Phillips leading the fightback as the hosts pushed for a big total.

India lead the five-match series 3-0 and won the toss, choosing to bowl first.
