Bangladesh batter Towhid Hridoy retired hurt during the first Test against West Indies in Dhaka on Wednesday, after suffering a suspected cramp in his left leg.
Hridoy made 42 off 84 balls and shared an 88-run stand with opener Shadman Islam before he had to leave the field on a stretcher, after taking a single in the 66th over.
He had already received treatment from the team physio earlier in the session, but the pain forced him off, bringing Litton Das to the crease.
Shadman was unbeaten on 96 off 208 balls, with 10 fours, and Bangladesh were 207 for 3 in 70 overs when bad light stopped play, with Litton unbeaten on 7.
