Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan batted India A safely to stumps on day three of the second unofficial Test in Christchurch, with the visitors 32 for no loss in their second innings and trailing New Zealand A by 46 runs.
Jaiswal finished unbeaten on 20 off 38 balls and Sudharsan on 11 off 28 balls, the pair seeing out the 11-over phase without losing a wicket after New Zealand A's 424 had given the hosts a 78-run first-innings lead over India A's 346.
India A's first innings had been built on captain Dhruv Jurel's century, along with 80 from Devdutt Padikkal and 68 from Akash Deep, and with all ten wickets still in hand, the visitors go into the final day needing 46 more runs just to wipe out the deficit.
