Ireland pacer Jai Moondra has set a new national record with the best bowling figures by an Ireland bowler in international cricket, taking 6 for 26 against Namibia in Windhoek.
The left-arm seamer took six wickets in 10 overs in the fourth one-day international on Friday, beating Josh Little's previous Ireland record of 6 for 36 against Zimbabwe in Harare in December 2023.
Ireland had posted 298 for 8, with Tim Tector making 73 and Curtis Campher 66, before Moondra bowled Namibia out for 168 in 41 overs to seal a 130-run win.
The win levels the five-match series 2-2, with the decider to be played in Windhoek on Sunday.
