Jemimah Smashes Unbeaten 107 as Mumbai Top Group D and Reach Super League
India batter Jemimah Rodrigues smashed an unbeaten 107 as Mumbai thrashed Pondicherry by 83 runs in Pune on Friday, in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy.
Rodrigues hit 16 fours and two sixes as Mumbai posted 213 for 2, with Humairaa Kaazi giving her solid support with 82 off 57 balls in a 166-run stand for the second wicket.
The win took Mumbai to the top of Group D on net run rate, ahead of Delhi on the same 20 points, and booked their place in the Super League.
The Super League will be played in Ahmedabad from 14 to 18 November, with Mumbai grouped with Maharashtra, Andhra and Railways, and the final on 20 November.
The hundred came in her first tournament back after three months out with a hamstring injury, days after she declared herself fit to play for India again.
