Kishan and Iyer Fifties in Vain as India Slip to 134 for 5 in Hamilton Finale

Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer both hit fifties in a 93-run fightback, but India still slipped to 134 for 5 in 14 overs in the fifth T20I against New Zealand at Seddon Park in Hamilton today.

India had lost both openers for just 19 runs before Kishan and Iyer rebuilt the innings.

Kishan made 61 off 32 balls before Blair Tickner had him caught by Nathan Smith at deep mid-wicket.

Captain Iyer reached his fifty and was then caught behind off Nathan Smith for 50, and Tilak Varma followed for 6, caught and bowled by Smith, as three wickets fell for 22 runs after India had reached 112 for 2.
