Omarzai's Maiden T20I Ton Powers Afghanistan to 221 Against Zimbabwe

Azmatullah Omarzai smashed his maiden T20I century as Afghanistan posted 221 for 7 against Zimbabwe in the second T20I at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Omarzai made 116 off just 50 balls, hitting five fours and 12 sixes, after Afghanistan's top order fell cheaply — the first three batters managed just one run between them.

He then shared a 142-run stand with Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadzai, who made 52 off 27 balls, a record sixth-wicket partnership for Afghanistan in T20Is.

Rashid Khan added an unbeaten 25 off six balls at the end, and Zimbabwe, who won the toss and chose to field first, were left chasing 222 to win.
