Prasidh Krishna Set to Miss First Three New Zealand ODIs

Reports say fast bowler Prasidh Krishna is set to miss India's first three one-day matches against New Zealand, after failing to recover in time from injury.

He was picked for the first three matches subject to a fitness clearance.

The first three matches are on 4, 7 and 10 November, and reports say he has a match simulation and a fitness test lined up at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru on 1 and 2 November.

He hurt his left hamstring during the second one-day match against the West Indies.

Reports say Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi, who was earlier picked only for the last two matches of the series, is set to step into the squad for the first three matches as well.

Auqib is already in New Zealand with India A, and the team management wants Prasidh fully ready for the Tests that follow the one-day series.
