Kotian's Career-Best 8/81 Seals Mumbai's 10-Wicket Rout of Haryana

Off-spinner Tanush Kotian returned career-best figures of 8 for 81 as Mumbai crushed Haryana by 10 wickets in their Ranji Trophy Elite Group D match at the BKC Ground in Mumbai on Thursday.

Kotian, who had taken 3 for 70 in the first innings, finished with his maiden 10-wicket match haul in domestic cricket — 11 wickets in all — after taking seven more wickets on the final day.

Haryana, following on after making 270 in reply to Mumbai's 430, were bowled out for 256, with overnight batters Himanshu Rana, on 46, and Nishant Sindhu, on 44, among Kotian's victims.

Samant Jakhar's 40 and Anuj Thakral's unbeaten 40 delayed Mumbai with an 81-run eighth-wicket stand before Kotian broke through.

Mumbai then knocked off the 97 runs in just 10.4 overs, with Angkrish Raghuvanshi unbeaten on 67 off 39 balls and Divyaansh Saxena unbeaten on 30 off 25, for a third straight bonus-point win and seven points.
