Abhishek Sharma Named Player of the Match After 113 in Wellington 3rd T20I

Abhishek Sharma was named Player of the Match after his 113 off 38 balls powered India to a six-wicket win over New Zealand in the third T20I at Hnry Stadium in Wellington on Tuesday, sealing the five-match series 3-0 with two matches still to play.

He reached his century in 35 balls, with nine fours and 11 sixes, after reaching his fifty in just 15 balls, and his knock was the standout innings in India's chase of 199, which they finished at 199 for 4 in 13.2 overs with 40 balls to spare.

Abhishek bounced back in style after two quiet scores in the first two matches of the series in Christchurch, while Daryl Mitchell's unbeaten 89 had earlier taken New Zealand to 198 for 3 in their 20 overs.
