Amit Mishra Returns to Delhi Capitals as Spin Bowling Coach

Mishra, 43, played 162 IPL matches across 16 seasons and took 174 wickets, starting his career with Delhi in the first season in 2008.

He is the only bowler with three hat-tricks in the tournament, one each for Delhi in 2008, Deccan Chargers in 2011 and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013.

He last played in the IPL in 2024 and now begins his coaching career with the same franchise he started with.

At Delhi he joins a new-look support staff led by head coach Sourav Ganguly, with Yuvraj Singh as assistant coach and Chaminda Vaas as fast bowling coach.
