Tilak Reveals Gambhir's Words That Powered His Match-Winning 51*

Before the match in Christchurch, Gambhir and Kotak told Tilak: "We all believe, and the whole of India believes in you.

If you stay till the end, then you will win the game for us." Tilak walked in with India in deep trouble during the chase of 181, but he kept that message in mind and refused to panic.

He finished unbeaten on 51 off 26 balls, sharing an unbeaten 69-run stand with Nitish Kumar Reddy, as India won with one ball to spare.

The win gave India a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, and Tilak was named Player of the Match.
