Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood Rested as Australia Name Fresh Squads for England

Australia have rested pace trio Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood for their home white-ball series against England, naming fresh-faced squads for three one-day internationals and five T20 internationals starting on 13 November in Perth.

The three fast bowlers have been rested after the Test series in South Africa, with big Test fixtures ahead, while Mitchell Marsh will captain both the one-day and T20 sides.

Nathan Ellis will also miss the one-day matches as he keeps recovering from a side strain picked up against South Africa in September, and up to eight players could make their international debuts on home soil.

Mahli Beardman, Oliver Peake, Jack Edwards and Liam Scott are the fresh faces in the one-day squad, while Nikhil Chaudhary, Joel Davies, Lachlan Shaw and Sam Harper earn T20 call-ups.

Test stars Travis Head, Matthew Renshaw, Cameron Green, Alex Carey, Josh Inglis and Cooper Connolly will play the one-day matches but skip the T20 leg, which ends in Canberra on 2 December.
