Bumrah and Pant Join India A Squad for Third Unofficial Test

Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant have been added to the India A squad for the third unofficial Test against New Zealand A in Lincoln, scheduled from 7 to 10 November.

Bumrah is expected to play the four-day match as he completes his return to competitive cricket ahead of India's Test series in New Zealand.

Pant, who is recovering from a side strain, will feature only if he gets fitness clearance from the medical team, and he has resumed light training but has not yet resumed wicketkeeping.

Both players are part of India's squad for the two-Test series against New Zealand, starting in Wellington on 19 November, and the India A match is part of their build-up to that series.
