Nissanka Ruled Out of Pakistan Tests, Udara Named Replacement

Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka will miss the two-Test series against Pakistan as he continues to recover from a left hamstring injury.

Lahiru Udara has been named as his replacement, with the opener already in Pakistan as part of Sri Lanka's one-day squad.

Nissanka was picked in the original Test squad subject to fitness, but he has not recovered in time, after also missing Sri Lanka's recent white-ball games in Pakistan.

The two Tests, part of the World Test Championship, start in Rawalpindi on 9 November, with the second Test in Lahore from 17 November, under new captain Kusal Mendis.
