Bumrah Returns to Red-Ball Cricket in India A Clash in Lincoln

Jasprit Bumrah returns to red-ball cricket on Saturday, when India A take on New Zealand A in the third and final four-day match at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln.

Bumrah has not played a Test or first-class match since India's home series against South Africa in November 2025.

A knee injury kept him out of the Sri Lanka tour in August, and he last played in the Asian Games final on 3 October.

He was kept out of the ongoing five-match one-day series against New Zealand so he stays fresh for the longer format.

Prasidh Krishna, back after a hamstring injury, and Ravindra Jadeja join him in the India A side as they build up to the two-Test series, which starts in Wellington on 19 November.

The first two matches of the series ended in draws, so the Lincoln match decides the series.
