Livingstone Joins CSK in Four-Player Trade With SRH Ahead of IPL 2027

Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad have completed a four-player trade ahead of IPL 2027, with England all-rounder Liam Livingstone and Australia's Jack Edwards joining CSK.

Livingstone moves to Chennai for Rs 6 crore, a big pay cut from the Rs 13 crore SRH paid for him at the last auction, while Edwards joins at his existing fee of Rs 3 crore.

In return, left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed and Australian fast bowler Nathan Ellis move to SRH, at Rs 4.8 crore and Rs 2 crore.

Khaleel returns to Hyderabad, where he played from 2018 to 2021, while Edwards is still waiting for his IPL debut after missing the whole of last season with a foot injury.

The trade comes ahead of the retention deadline on November 17, with the mini-auction set for December 16 in Goa.
