Towhid Hridoy has become the first Bangladeshi batter to score 150 in a Test innings against West Indies, carrying Bangladesh's fightback on the third day of the second Test in Sylhet.
Hridoy moved past his maiden Test century, made earlier in the day, and was unbeaten on 165 as Bangladesh reached 290 for 7, still 66 runs behind West Indies' first innings total of 356.
He added 69 runs without losing a wicket in the first hour after lunch with Taijul Islam, after Bangladesh had reached lunch on 205 for 7.
Bangladesh must win the match to level the two-match series, after West Indies won the first Test in Dhaka by eight wickets.
