Meghalaya have changed their entire Ranji Trophy side for their Plate League match against Nagaland in Shillong, after a court order ruled the original squad's selection invalid.
The original side, unbeaten in the Plate League with a three-run win over Manipur and first-innings leads against Sikkim and Mizoram, arrived at the ground on match day but were told by the match referee that they could not play, as a new squad had been registered.
The new eleven is led by former Punjab opener Jiwanjot Singh.
The change follows months of infighting in the state association, and the ousted players' camp has said it will challenge the court order, leaving the rest of Meghalaya's season uncertain.
