Rain Delays Toss as India-New Zealand ODI Opener Waits at Eden Park

The toss for the first ODI between India and New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland has been delayed by rain on Wednesday morning, with the covers on and both teams waiting for conditions to improve.

The toss was due at 7:00 AM IST, half an hour before the scheduled 7:30 AM IST start of the five-match series opener, but light rain over the ground pushed the pre-match proceedings back.

No revised start time has been announced yet, and the toss result and the confirmed teams will only be known once the rain clears and play is cleared to begin.
