Rare Final-Ball No-Ball Hands Renegades Thrilling Win Over Hurricanes

Melbourne Renegades beat Hobart Hurricanes by four wickets in a thrilling Women's Big Bash League finish in Hobart, winning off a rare final-ball no-ball with the scores tied.

Hobart made 154 for 7, with captain Nicola Carey top-scoring with 62 off 43 balls, while Renegades captain Sophie Molineux took 4 for 22.

Hayley Matthews led the chase with 59 off 44 balls for the Renegades.

With the scores locked at 154, Deandra Dottin missed the final delivery, but wicketkeeper Lizelle Lee was judged to have taken the ball in front of the stumps, so the umpires called a no-ball and the Renegades took the winning run.

It was the Renegades' first win of the tournament, while the Hurricanes stayed winless after three games.
