Tanisha's 119 Powers Delhi to Record 262 in Women's Domestic T20
Delhi posted 262 for 6 against Hyderabad in their Senior Women's T20 Trophy league match in Pune on Thursday, the highest total ever by a women's team in domestic T20 cricket.
Opener Tanisha Singh led the record effort with 119 off just 47 balls, hitting 25 fours and a six, and reaching her century in only 38 balls — the joint third-fastest hundred in women's T20 cricket.
Tanisha shared a 160-run stand in 66 balls with Priya Punia, who made 59 off 28, while Shweta Sehrawat smashed 26 off eight balls, as Delhi went past the old record of 257 for 2 set by Goa against Arunachal Pradesh in 2019-20.
Hyderabad finished on 154 for 8 in reply despite Trisha's 80 off 52 balls, as Delhi won by 108 runs, with Sumiti Soni taking three for 28 and Vanka Pooja's four for 32 the only bright spot for Hyderabad with the ball.
