West Indies have won the toss and chosen to bat first in the second and final Test against Bangladesh at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, with play starting at 9:00 AM IST on Thursday.

West Indies lead the two-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test at Mirpur by eight wickets, so Bangladesh must win at Sylhet to level the series, while a draw would hand the visitors the series.

The visitors have made three changes from Mirpur: Joshua Da Silva and Kevin Wickham, who makes his Test debut, come in along with veteran pacer Kemar Roach, while John Campbell, Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Joshua Bishop miss out.

Bangladesh have brought back Mushfiqur Rahim in place of Mominul Haque, who is still out after his concussion in the first Test, and Taskin Ahmed replaces Shoriful Islam, while Taijul Islam keeps his place despite talk that he could be left out.

Bangladesh's team is Shadman Islam, Tanzid Hasan, captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nayeem Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Taijul Islam and Hasan Mahmud.

West Indies' team is Joshua Da Silva, Brandon King, Kevin Wickham, Kavem Hodge, Amir Jangoo, captain Roston Chase, Justin Greaves, Kemar Roach, Shamar Joseph, Jomel Warrican and Jayden Seales.

The Sylhet surface is known to bat well early in the match before spin plays a bigger role later on, which is one reason batting first is a popular choice here.
