BCCI Extends IPL 2027 Retention Deadline to November 17

The Indian cricket board has given all ten IPL teams two extra days to finalise their retention lists for the 2027 season, moving the deadline from 15 November to 17 November.
The original date clashed with the fifth and final one-day international between India and New Zealand at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on 15 November.
Player registration for the auction opened on 2 November and closes on 23 November, and teams must submit their shortlists by 1 December, with the final auction list due on 3 December.
The mini-auction itself is unchanged and will still be held in Goa on 16 December.
It is the last mini-auction of the current cycle, with a mega auction planned ahead of the 2028 season.
