India batter Jemimah Rodrigues has declared herself fully fit after three months out with a hamstring injury, putting her in line for a return to the national side for the multi-format tour of South Africa in December.

Rodrigues picked up the injury on 3 August while playing for Southern Brave against Welsh Fire in The Hundred in Cardiff, and scans at the BCCI Centre of Excellence later confirmed a high-grade tear in her right hamstring.

The injury kept her out of the Women's T20 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates, the Asian Games in Japan and India's home white-ball series against Zimbabwe.

On Friday she announced on Instagram that her hamstring had been declared fit after three months of rehabilitation, saying she could not wait to get going again.

She is expected to turn out for Mumbai in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy before the selectors pick the squad for South Africa, where India play a one-off Test at Gqeberha from 9 December followed by three one-day internationals and three T20 internationals.
