Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been cleared fit by the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru after match-simulation tests over the last two days, and he is set to fly to New Zealand shortly.
The clearance comes after he was ruled out of the five-match ODI series against New Zealand, which starts at Eden Park in Auckland on Wednesday, 4 November, because he needed more time to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered during the second ODI against the West Indies on 30 September.
He is now expected to be available for the third and final unofficial Test between India A and New Zealand A in Lincoln, starting 7 November, giving him match practice ahead of the two-match Test series that begins on 19 November.
